The Advanced course is an intensive, 1-day motorcycle training program for licensed riders ready to elevate their skills. Using your own street-legal motorcycle, you'll practice advanced techniques that go beyond the basics—sharpening your control, cornering precision, and emergency maneuvering for improved performance and safety on the road.​​

 

To participate in the Advanced course, riders must have a valid NYS motorcycle license and at least 1,000 hours of experience riding in a variety of traffic conditions.

Cost of tuition includes:

  • $160 course fee + $25 online registration and credit card convenience fee

  • 1-day curriculum

  • 6 hours of hands-on training with certified instructors

course requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum 18 years of age

  • Current, valid NYS driver's license 

  • Regardless of experience, this course is not open to riders with a Junior driver's license or riders under 18 years of age.​
     

RIDING EXPERIENCE

  • Current, valid NYS motorcycle license 

  • Minimum 1,0000 hours riding experience in a variety of traffic conditions

  • Starting with the very first exercise, students must perform each and every objective.

  • ​If a student does not possess the basic skills required for the Advanced course, they will be counseled out of the course without refund and encouraged to register and pay for the 2-day Beginner course.

requireD riding equipment:

Students use their own street legal motorcycle for the Advanced course. Bikes must be in good working mechanical condition with valid registration, inspection and insurance.

At check-in, a Learn 2 Ride instructor will perform an onsite inspection. If a bike does not meet the mechanical requirements, the student will be unable to participate without refund. Please contact Learn 2 Ride to discuss any bike performance questions or concerns before you register.
