Beginner course

learn the basics

The Beginner rider training course is an entry-level program designed for individuals with little to no motorcycle riding experience. The course combines a prerequisite online module with a comprehensive two-day hands-on training course, teaching students the fundamental skills and knowledge necessary for safe and responsible motorcycle operation.

Under the guidance of certified instructors, students participate in a series of structured riding exercises to learn essential motorcycling skills. Student practice straight-line riding, smooth stopping, precise gear shifting, effective turning techniques, swerving, and emergency braking, and progress to the next exercise as they meet each objective.

Enrollment for the Beginner course is handled through Monroe Community College. Please review all of the course information provided on Learn 2 Ride's website, including basic requirements and cancellation policies, BEFORE you register.
